Get ready for an amazing market back at Scottsdale Civic Center! We have many exciting activities and experiences planned for our shoppers. Enjoy live music, beer gardens for adults, and endless fun for the entire family! For the first time, we are collaborating with the Scottsdale Arts Sun & Sounds event every Sunday and we can't wait for you to join us.

Market hours are 10am to 4pm every Sunday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday, March 28. If vendors select the March 28 & 29 market date option, they must participate in both days of the markets.

SPACES AVAILABLE

Beverage vendor spaces are very limited. Spaces are first come, first serve. Your space is not guaranteed until payment is received. If spaces are filled, you may request to be added to our waitlist in case of cancellations. 

$250 per every Sunday for Truck/Trailer OR 10’x10’ booth space
$500 for Sat, March 28 & Sun, March 29 - 10’x10’ booth space
Booth requirements: A 10’ x 10’ canopy in white, cream, or a branded design is required and must be securely weighted on all four legs (minimum 40 lbs per leg) with weights firmly attached or strapped; stakes or any ground-damaging methods are prohibited. For safety reasons, canopies without proper weights may be required to be dismantled at any time. Booths may be located on grass, gravel, or pavement and may have a slight incline, so please plan accordingly.
Electricity is available for $50 per market, though powered spaces are limited.

Important Notice: 

• Fire Resistance Requirement:  All vendor tents must have a fire-resistant label or certificate, as required by the Scottsdale Fire Department. Tents without proper documentation will be removed. CPAI-84 certified tents meet this requirement. By purchasing a vendor space, you agree to comply. Thank you for helping us keep the event safe.
• We are required to submit vendor permits to Maricopa County, and inspectors will be on-site during the event. Please ensure you have all necessary documentation and equipment to pass inspection. If you are cooking on-site, you must bring a fire extinguisher, as the Scottsdale Fire Department will also be conducting safety checks for fire code compliance.
• Please download and complete the Maricopa County Food Vendor Registration Form, available after payment, to register your business with the county. By purchasing a vendor space, you confirm that all required permits with the City of Scottsdale and Maricopa County have been obtained. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without a refund. Once completed, please email the form to contact@merchantilemarket.com.
• The City of Scottsdale asks that all food & beverage vendors provide a COI that shows both Scottsdale Arts and The City of Scottsdale are listed as "additionally insured". Our team will follow up with you 1 month prior to the market with more details and the requirements.
• UPDATED Overnight 10’x10’ Booth Setup Guidelines on SAT, MARCH 28 ONLY: Weather permitting, vendors may leave booths intact overnight from Saturday to Sunday at their own discretion, though overnight conditions can be unpredictable. Tents left in place must be fully enclosed with zippered or Velcro-attached sidewalls, lowered, and securely weighted at all four corners (minimum 40 lbs per leg; no stakes allowed). Mandatory takedown will be required if wind, rain, storms, or overnight gusts of 15 mph or higher are forecasted or observed. Weather updates and instructions will be communicated via email and vendors are responsible for following all directions.
• NEW: By participating, vendors agree to comply with the Weather & Canopy Policy as linked in the vendor approval email. 
  
• Security on SAT, MARCH 28: All vendors are strongly encouraged to remove all valuables overnight — including but not limited to cash boxes, electronics, merchandise, and sensitive materials.
• EARLY DEPARTURE: Vendors who begin packing up or leaving before the official market close time will be subject to a $50 early breakdown fee. Early departure may affect your eligibility to participate in future markets.
• NO SHOW: Failure to notify us of your absence will result in a $50 no-show fee and may lead to removal from consideration for future markets.

While we do our best to limit similar product categories and space out vendors with overlapping items, it’s not always possible to avoid placing similar vendors near each other. Even if you pay for a special placement request, we cannot guarantee you won’t be near someone in the same category. We do our best to accommodate, but some overlap may occur.

NO REFUNDS/CREDITS/TRANSFERS FOR ANY REASON - THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT

NEXT STEPS:

1. Pay to reserve your space by purchasing a space on this listing.  If you require electricity, please ensure to ADD BOTH "Truck/Trailer or Booth ONLY" AND "+$50 Add-On to Booth for Electricity" to cart when you checkout to purchase space. Please be sure to ADD ELECTRICITY for EACH MARKET DATE that you are participating in and require it. We cannot hold spaces. Spaces are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE regardless of the reason, sorry!

2. After purchasing the vendor space, you will receive an email with downloadable event graphics for you to post on social media.
   UPDATE: We have updated the Vendor Agreement for 2025-2026 Market season, and all participating vendors will be required to review and submit a signed copy of the revised agreement. We will be sending the revised Vendor Agreement in a separate email shortly.

3. Be sure to add Scottsdale to your Arizona TPT license. If it’s not already listed, visit aztaxes.gov and complete the form under the “Businesses” section. Fees may apply, and your license should arrive within 5 business days. After the event, you must report and pay sales tax to the City of Scottsdale. For help, contact the Arizona Department of Revenue directly—we’re unable to assist with licensing. Learn more at azdor.gov.

SHARING POLICY

To help us promote the event, all vendors are asked to:

1. Share the Event Graphic
   Post or repost the official event graphic on your Instagram and Facebook stories at least once a week, starting the day you receive it.

2. Post Your Vendor Graphic
   After purchasing your space, download and post the "I’m a Vendor" graphic to let your followers know you’ll be there!

3. Spread the Word
   Promote the event through your social media, email newsletters, and with your friends, family, and community. Need flyers? Email us at contact@merchantilemarket.com.

4. Please Pronounce Us Right!
   Please say The Merchantile as “Merch-an-tile.”

DONATION ITEMS

We invite you to donate a small item for our giveaway baskets. We will be raffling up to two gift baskets and always have a giveaway for the first 100 customers at the Welcome Booth!

Please drop off your items anytime between now and the week of the market to ensure a proper Instagram shout-out for your business. You can also include coupons for the baskets. Drop off at our Scottsdale store only or mail your items to:
